It is our great honor to introduce to you our "ROAR for a CURE"  Model - Delores Blair - SIX time Cancer Survivor and Stem Cell Transplant Recipient received at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

"My name is Delores Blair and I am part Mexican and part Cajun French.  I was born and raised in Louisiana in the heart of Cajun country.  I am a warrior in an over 20+ year battle with cancer.  And so far, I'm still winning.  I have survived cancer SIX times and a stem cell transplant. 

When I have talked about my cancer journey people say it is inspiring.  I never thought I could inspire anyone.  If anyone would have told me that I could speak in a room of people about cancer, I would have said, "never".  But, I have.  I hope that by sharing my journey it will help others to become warriors in their own journey.  I was shy and insecure before my illnesses.  But experiencing cancer has made me a stronger person.

.... I should feel so happy about surviving everything I went through, but I am a purposeful driven person.  God has saved me so many times I feel he has a purpose for me.  I just need to find that purpose.  I hope sharing my story will help another person who is struggling with cancer gain some hope.  My motto is to never give up and always keep moving.  None of us know how long we have on this earth, so we need to live every day as it is our last."
